Spring time brings about a
feeling of cleaning and renewal to the world. You may find yourself looking to
update the outside of your home as part of your spring cleaning plans. There
are some great ideas available to help you update the look of your home and to
give it a fresh start for the many summer events you want to have. Here are a
few ideas to keep in mind for sprucing up the outside of your home.
Fresh Paint
Just as a new coat of paint can update the inside of your home, it can also do wonders to the outside. Pick a new color to update your homes look or just go with a fresh coat of the same color. You can easily create a whole modern design by choosing a fresh color that is popular now and adding a new trim color as well. This is a relatively inexpensive route to go and you can do it yourself or have someone come and paint it for you.
Add a Walkway
If you love being outdoors and have some room to spare, consider adding a beautiful flower lined walkway to your yard. This could be out your back door or it could be a new entrance to your home from the driveway. Add some beautiful paving stones, flowers, or shrubs and even a trellis as you enter the front door.
Update the Landscape
If you already have landscaped areas around your home, don’t’ forget to freshen those up as well. You can add new mulch, fresh plants, trim the hedges, and even add yard statues such as the popular gnomes or solar lighting.

Fire Pit
