Jeff and his team recently completed a master bath renovation for our home. Just as a backdrop, we found Jeff during a quick internet search and saw many positive reviews and decided to have him bid on our project. He was easy to interact with during the estimating process, very responsive when we had questions, and came across as someone who would be trustworthy and easy to deal with. With this, a reasonable price, and good timing with his availability, we gave Jeff the project. He assured us that we would be happy with the outcome.

Now for the project. Both the work on the project and the end result exceeded our expectations. Jeff brought a quality team to work on our project. Everyone was respectful with our home, professional, friendly and punctual. They were diligent, hard working and brought a high level of quality and care to the work they performed. As you can imagine, this gave us great comfort that the result would meet or exceed our expectations.

The project finished on time with no cost overage from Jeff's estimate, which in and of itself, is no small feat with any renovation project so we really appreciated that. The communications from Jeff and his team, from start to finish, was fantastic - they kept us in the loop with key decisions and timing to ensure there were no misunderstandings. From this experience, we view Jeff as a trusted advisor and contractor for our future projects and look forward to working with him again.

have never written a review for anything before but feel compelled to do so after my wonderful experience with Jeff’s services. I found him through Internet by reading a lot of reviews such like this. It’s only fair if someone like I was can find the useful information to make his or her decision easier when it come to find the right man for their home improvement needs. For most of the people like me buying a home is the biggest investment of our lifetime. Of course, it’s only natural if I would like to make it my own with my personal touch. Thus, my wife and I have layout our plan of what we like to do over the basic or outdated existing features. That’s the easy part. The hardest thing is to find who can execute our plan to make our dream house a reality. There are a lot of home improvement companies advertised via magazine, newspaper or search engines. My wife and I found their services usually overpriced. We do have a budget in mind. After spent a lot to buy the house, we really tried to find a most cost effective way to accomplish our plan. The other option is to go with handyman services. Problem is the quality of work varies. Even worse, some points of contacts are just the middleman. The actual handyman who does the work is a different person or a different crew. The man who start the job might be different than the one finish it. It’s really a daunting task to find the right one. Luckily after reading the encouraging reviews, we found Jeff. Jeff has all the good qualities that we are looking for. He showed up on time for all our appointments. He is really nice and friendly. No middleman, he is the one and he did most of the works too. He has a team but he love to do the work himself. He has passion for the good service and craftsmanship that he provided. Most importantly, he listened to our plan and ideas. He would contribute his professional opinion but never try to sell ideas of something that you don’t need unlike some other company’s upsell tactics. He is a perfectionist and prides himself of doing a best work that looks perfect and fit your plan. The big challenges of what we asked him to do are the fireplace works. We have an existing fireplace in our family room, which has a 20-foot ceiling. We also have a normal height living room without the fireplace but would like to have one. The idea was to remove the family room fireplace mantel cleanly without damaging it. Then surround the fireplace with nice looking stones all the way up to the ceiling. It would give the fireplace a dramatic look even from the upstairs. The saved mantel would then moved to the living room. We bought an electric fireplace and marble/granite facings for it. However, we ran into a setback. The fireplace that I got wasn’t made for and won’t be able to be recessed into the wall. This caused Jeff some sleepless nights tried to think of a solution. He even brought some other experts for suggestions. Their ideas were very costly to either build some custom mantel boxes or a new wall to house this fireplace. I was very disappointed since my wife love the look of the original plan (the beautiful mantel that we saved with the dark green granite facing surround!). After I expressed my desire to stick to the original design, Jeff went back to the drawing board and really tried hardest to make it work for us (sorry Jeff for those sleepless nights!). At the end, he and his team done it! The result is stunning. It exceeds my expectations. All the great works that Jeff has done for me, all are done with profession. He has executed our plan perfectly. Jeff of All Trades is definitely my go-to guy for any home improvement works big or small.

Jeff was personable, professional, thorough, honest and fair in his pricing. He was able to give us a quick estimate with no pressure. When we contacted him to proceed with repairs he was available quickly. He was patient when our dog ruined a project he was working on twice! He was neat, focused and quiet while working, picking up after he left. Due to the nature of one of the projects he had to come back a separate day after some products dried in order to assure it was completed properly. It was just my daughter and I home when he came for the estimate and the repairs and we felt more than safe to be in his presence. He restored three window sills, removed caulking from bathtub and treated it before re-caulking, he sanded and painted a spot in our kitchen ceiling, installed a bathroom faucet, and installed floor transitions between rooms. The work he fixed around the house looks better than its counterparts! We wish we would have found Jeff years ago!!! We will no doubt be calling Jeff the second we need anything done.

Jeff has done a lot of work for us over the past few years and we have loved everything he has done. He has updated bathrooms and built closets. He is timely, efficient, responsible and honest. He gives you a quote for the work that needs to be done and sticks to that quote. He does that job as if it was his house. If you need someone who can can do it all call Jeff you will not be disappointed.

Jeff is man of his words. This was the first time I was using his services. My tenant called and informed me the thermostat was not working. I was out of town and needed somebody to fix the problem before night fall. Jeff was God sent. He was honest and on time. He was able to identify the problem and resolve the issue. It was not the thermostat at all it was the igniter and he was very reasonable in pricing. I have already given him two more jobs. I would recommend him to my friends and family any time.
